Summer Photography Workshop
It is that time of the season again at our coffee shop here in our lovely Down Town Whitby. Sara Lambert’s photography course is on its second round at Brock St. Espresso and this time I am one of her students. The course runs every Tuesday and Wednesday from 7pm- 9pm. The class takes place at the lounge area at the back of the café located at 131 Brock St. South. Our coffee shop’s lounge is available for rent any day of the week for all you trend setters out the looking for a cool spot to host your upcoming event. Catering is also an option if you are more interested in having our quality coffee, tea and pastries brought to your desired settings.
Last week we completed our first lesson that was extremely informative but also very fun. I began the class by helping Sarah set up the lounge area. We placed our mobile projector screen and projector at the ideal location. I made sure that all the students were well taken care of by making quality coffee and tea beverages. The lesson begun and ended with Sarah being a total super star and proving once again that she’s a gifted teacher. The class went so smooth that end the end of class we all sat around for a bit and chatted about what we had just learned.
This week in particularly we discussed the importance of f-Stop, ISO, and Shutter Speed and the relation between those 3 key components. At the end of class, we were told we had an assignment which I so excited to work on. Follow our social media accounts @Brockstespresso and @Sarah.lambert_ to see our progress.
