Brock St. Espresso aims to be a coffee destination & social gathering hub. Whitby’s coffee culture to lives here. With the highest quality beans, and many brews to choose from, Brock St. Espresso will serve you a cup of "joe" that won’t disappoint.

Our Coffee shop is located in the heart of Whitby’s Historic Down Town.

We serve specialty coffee beverages made with the finest fair-trade beans, that are roasted to perfection by the award winning Propeller Coffee Co. In addition to great coffee, we serve bespoke teas blends, cold pressed juices and light breakfast/lunch options such as fresh pastries, salads and sandwiches.

We cater coffee and other related products. We can provide mobile espresso bar services perfect for any off-site special event. We also provide rental space booking options for small business meetings, workshops and special functions such as reunions, birthdays and bridal/baby showers.

Our Coffee is roasted by the reputable Propeller Coffee Co., a small batch roaster that specializes in sourcing and roasting some of the world’s best beans. We are thankful our friends and partners maintain high-quality standards that have helped introduce us to truly amazing coffee.

OWNERS - DAVID & LORENA

David and Lorena moved to Whitby from Toronto in 2016 which proved out to be the most amazing decision of their lives. The up and coming Whitby community vibe is what inspired them to create a place that everyone could call “their home away from home”. David and Lorena have that same passion and love for coffee. Combining the two only seemed natural. Brock St. Espresso is their way of sharing the love they have for coffee and their community with their neighbours.

BRAND MANAGER - MARGARITA

Lorena and Margarita are both Nurses at Toronto East General Hospital which is where they met. During the time they spent together working long night shifts, buying matching shoes online and talking on the phone for hours on end, their friendship became strong. That same friendship is what aspired the foundation of their professional relationship. When Lorena told Margarita that she and David were planning to open a coffee shop Margarita was thrilled, to say the least. Her input on the decor and style of Brock St. Espresso has been so valuable. But above all, Margarita is responsible for the social media style and marketing capabilities of Brock St. Espresso.

BARISTA - NICKI

Nicki is the most adorable and loving member of our team, she is a born and raised in Whitby resident. She loves the coffee culture and discovered so many aspects of the cafe life after working as a Barista in Toronto for 6years. But her heart belongs to art and travel. After completing her studies at OCAD in the heritage, conservation and museum program Nicki spent some time in Europe embracing European lifestyle, culture and history. Nicki is aspired to to work in a museum’s conservation lab, researching and caring for their collections.
